ZIO & SONS

One of my favorite people (who happens to be my dear cousin) Zio & Sons, is having his debut showcase of furniture and decorative accessories this Thursday May, 17th. He has a great eye and wonderful vintage aesthetic so if you're in NYC stop by his showcase at 264 Bowery Street. Enjoy!

SUCH A GOOD IDEA

Thanks to Design Sponge, I recently came across these Pretty Pegs, which are super cute legs that you can screw onto the bottom of your IKEA furniture to give it a more custom look. Seriously, how has this not been done before! They come in wonderful shapes and colors and are an easy way to spruce up your space.

TAKE ME AWAY

Tuesday's call for a little escapism, so here is a home comprised of beautiful light soaked rooms featuring ornate crown molding, upholstered velvet furniture and a raw chevron wood floor—I would like to be transported now. images via Sanctuary

I'm completely blown away by the interior styling work of Irina Graewe, nearly every shot from her portfolio is seriously stunning.

I've been searching for a Regency style console for a few months now and think I may have finally found the one! Love the black top, neon yellow and swan details. Yay!

VINTAGE VANDALLS

A new vintage furniture/rarities/bookstore opened up in San Francisco's Mission district recently and it's a strange brew of wonderful and odd that will make you feel like you walked into a gypsie's den—in a good way. Went we went into Viracocha this weekend, where the shopkeepers looked as if they could have been an extra set of hands at an old timey circus; one was playing piano while another dusted old typewriters with over-sized feathers. Check it out for yourself babes.

PINCH ME

At London's Decorex Design show this year I feel in love with British company, Pinch. The husband and wife team have a beautifully pared down and graceful aesthetic, all the way to their packaging. There's something heartfelt about their clean lines and raw materials that makes you feel warm inside. Yum.

Knit Pick

We're digging Melanie Porter's hand knit chairs. With craft revival in full swing, people want something that's hand made and not mass produced; giving you the feeling you could grow old with the piece. I'm especially fond of the low slung "Lottie", show above.

Diesel x Moroso Furniture Line

Two major Italian brands have come together for a well-fitting collaboration, Diesel and Moroso. Diesel of course know for its quality jeans, studded and grommeted attire and a rocker chic attitude has picked the perfect mate in respected furniture brand Moroso. While we're not keen on every piece of the furniture line, we are pleasantly surprised with the xraydio table and overdyned tables. Here are a few of the pieces from the Milan Furniture Fair (courtesy of designboom):

Past-Perfect

Ok, we've been away- mostly busy with with building boats and shelves. Too busy to come with some fresh finds for you fiends, so here's what we've been up to, to pass a little time:

1) Contemplating buying ugly furniture

2) Watching freak cats terrorize our apartment

3) Coming up on some good Men's boots - these are Stacy Adams (found out In God We Trust, on Ludlow)

4) STAYING CRISPY AS FUCK ! (Alife)

We'll be back with the good good, real soon...
