I DYE

For a design project I'm working on I wanted to bleach dye some denim this weekend and although I may have inhaled a bit too much bleach, I'm loving the results!

I started by testing out a sample of the denim and folding in an accordian like mannor to get the pattern going across the denim, opposed to a hippie dippie spiral.

6 yards of denim, 4 gallons of bleach and about an 45 minutes later I had a bathtub full of tie-dyed denim! I fear every piece of denim hanging in my closet might meet the same fate very soon.

Design House Stockholm is one of my favorite interior brands and their recently launched cobalt and white ceramic tabletop collection is well-crafted and seriously stunning. It was a handsome standout at the New York Gift Show this week.

My co-worker Mario Lopez-Cordero is the dapper don of the office. He always looks thoughtful and well put together, but so fun and cute at the same time! Today I'm loving his blue and white pinstripe shirt, polkadot tie and check pocket square—all finished off with a navy blazer and jeans. Yummy
