I DYE

For a design project I'm working on I wanted to bleach dye some denim this weekend and although I may have inhaled a bit too much bleach, I'm loving the results!

I started by testing out a sample of the denim and folding in an accordian like mannor to get the pattern going across the denim, opposed to a hippie dippie spiral.

6 yards of denim, 4 gallons of bleach and about an 45 minutes later I had a bathtub full of tie-dyed denim! I fear every piece of denim hanging in my closet might meet the same fate very soon.

HOME GROWN

For a while I've wanted to re-create a Philip Crangi bracelet made with mini brass hex nuts and finally I did! Super easy, get three pieces of rope a yard each and braid in the nut before placing the outer rope in the middle of the braid.
