TRUE LOVE

We have long admired the work of NYC jeweler Philip Crangi. From his use of materials to the style of the man himself, it has been quite a love affair. The Selby recently shot our boy (above), check out the rest of the photos for yourself here.

KINGS COUNTY DISTILLERY

My boss recently gave me a bottle of moonshine from King's County Distillery, New York City's oldest whiskey distillery. Made from corn, the whiskey was surprisingly smooth and I just love the packaging.

GUIDE TO THE L.E.S.

One of my favorite apartments that I've lived in was right in the heart of Manhattan's Lower East Side at Ludlow and Rivington. With pretty much anything I wanted to get into at arms reach or a few stops away on subway, I was a very happy camper. Margo Ducharme, owner of my go to shopping spot Assembly, shared with Vogue a few of her favorite LES spots and I couldn't agree with her picks more. Read more here...

I'M A WANDERER

The recently opened NoMad Hotel in NYC is sure to give the ever hip Ace Hotel a run for it's money. I have been a long time fan of French architect/interior designer Jacques Garcia and happy to see his beautiful aesthetic put to work in this medium. Inspired by his own Parisian apartment the rooms feature salon style art, claw foot bathtubs and an antiqued look of a "great house" that sure to beckon the lovely and lusty. See you there!

THE REFORMATION

NYC's Lower East Side is a haven for shopping in independently owned, styled and truly bad ass boutiques—gratefully I lived in the heart of it. The Reformation was my go to, for a night out, special occasion or just had too frozen margaritas next door and needed some retail therapy. Alexa Chung recently did a shopping guide of the area with Lucky magazine and here are some snaps of the occasion.

GET HANDSOME

One of the best pop-up's that I've been to is the Pop Up Flea in NYC that happens once a year, focusing on new and vintage menswear. So many inspiring vendors, products, leather goods, fabrics, accessories, raw denim, mustaches, cuffed pants, happy socks, ahhhh! For some serious man stalking and shopping be there December 2-4 at 159 Bleecker.

Tag It

You know when you see a gift that would be perfect for one of your tigers, but you kinda just want to keep it for yourself ? Well this "Walls Notebook" is just such thing.
The pages are photos of walls and backdrops in New York, ripe for the scribbling, doodling, love letter writing or illustrating of your desire. Cop one from our friends Charles and Marie.
