Do This, For Real

When you're feeling like getting cougar on something real tasty, go to Cafe Habana at 17 Prince Street. There is a smaller burrito contingent right next store to the more popular restaurant, that is sure to satisfy your little hearts desire.

When you're done grab your main squeeze and lead them to Ciao Bella, right around the corner at 285 Mott Street. Treat them to some decadent gelato to ensure you will be getting a little sugar for yourself at the end of the night !

Geek Chic

LinkTheres an interesting little piece from our friends at Dazed Digital, about a precocious teen girl who has found her rebellious phase take form of an evacuee. Named Sunshine, by her post angsty literary punk parents, Sunshine writes about how she emulates an Anne Frank sort of style and prefers hearty meals of leek stew and biscuits, to her peers radio friendly juicy coutour lifestyle. It's a refreshing article that reminds us here at The Shop to go our own way.

Mask Ot

The Cabinet Shop has a few surly mascots that run around and terrorize shit, thought I'd share these rescued fur balls that I'm sure a few of you have the pleasure of being pestered by.

Reformation

There are times when a new outfit or accessory irrationally seals an anticipating crush or distracts a broken heart. For those moments and the others that come between I've found a special spot that both coasts have access to. Reformation, named for the reforming of vintage fabrics, finds and goods to stylize the modern Courtney Love to Audrey Hepburn in all of us. Beautiful tailoring, unique patterns and cuts with a bit of a deconstructed edge.

Here are a few shots I took at the LA shop at 142 N. La Brea Ave (the Manhattan shop in is the LES on Ludlow between Rivington and Stanton):
