STAY GOLDEN

One of our favorite shops in SF, Reliquary, introduced us to one of our new favorite local designers, Ali Golden. She works mostly in sheers, which is great for fall layering and her color pallet is spot on with cobalt blues and saffron yellows. She has a small shop in Oakland's hot like fire Temescal neighborhood, which is super cute too. Stay Golden Ponyboy, stay Golden.

EUROPEAN UNION

San Francisco's Jackson Square has seriously stepped up thier game in the last few years and this April, La Boutique is the new popular kid on the block. Well, the kind of popular kid that is too cool for school, hangs out with the freaks and geeks and has an undeniably sexy accent. Carved out of the mind of owner Carole Harris, the shop carries all europen label womens wear that borders on cult obsession. Maison Martin Margiela, Zadig & Voltaire, Swildens and much more. Most of these brands are hard to find outside of NY, so to my sf loves its time to put the granola down and get dipped honey !

Nomia NYC

One of our tigers Yara, is the brains, hands and beauty behind one of our favorite fashion lines - Nomia NYC. Her pieces are decidedly feminine with enough edge to transition from day to night with ease. Last night was the preview of her Spring/Summer collection and we're already chomping at the bit to put in our order. Above is a sneak peak...

Reformation

There are times when a new outfit or accessory irrationally seals an anticipating crush or distracts a broken heart. For those moments and the others that come between I've found a special spot that both coasts have access to. Reformation, named for the reforming of vintage fabrics, finds and goods to stylize the modern Courtney Love to Audrey Hepburn in all of us. Beautiful tailoring, unique patterns and cuts with a bit of a deconstructed edge.

Go Gently Into the Night

We've been gone for a minute, sewing our wild oats in Cali but were finally back in NYC and ready to get back on our grind. To start things off here is a perfectly styled line from popissue, to get us back in a New York state of mind. We're feeling the layered looks playing with proportion.
