I'm not a huge fan of sneakers, I like to keep to Prada creepers if I'm wearing flats but I mean an Hermes x Vans collaboration—yes please!

One of our tigers, Seeking Designers ( the supreme design source for premiere independent design) just turned us on to some of the cleanest sneakers we've seen in the game, by Common Projects. Here a few of our favs:

The Eponymous J

With the NBA playoffs going on, just wanted to give it up real quick to our school days hero, Mr. Michael Jordan. Rockin' the Ray Bans and his namesake sneakers...he will always be the man.

Je t'aime

This shot of a fresh crew of high top sneakers and boots snapped on the scene of Paris Fashion week, was love at first sight. Brings us to that blushing moment where he steps towards you with those newly minted J's on and you think...mmm...can i keep him forever ? (Jak&Jill)

Reading Does A Body Good

In reading through Wallpaper's new issue, there is a great piece on Fashion's "Young Guns". Former fashion editor of V Magazine, Patrik Ervell, is profiled and among the line that caught our eye, were the Alexander McQueen for Puma sneakers. Perhaps we'd feel them a bit more in a different color, but here are some more detailed pics (notice the skeleton sole), for your viewing pleasure.

I Get High On Your Memory

We've been a fan of the super high tops for a minute and we're pumped to see these Women's Skinny Super Hi Dunks, shown here in the lavender and grey. They also come in black and tiffany's ice green. All the ladies will be walking around singing Freda Payne ! (Image via Dunk.com.cn)

War Is Big Buisness

We're feeling these Undefeated x Converse nylon high top sneaker. The logo is removable (yes please), has classic orange lining to give that military feel and an embroidered patch stating "War is Big Business". They drop this Saturday, so make it snappy !

Holey Ghost

Although the Ladies of NYC couldnt sport these for a few months, we've got our eye on the prize and they come in the form of Masion Martin Margiela's new kicks. Love the color, the different textures of rubber and suede; all around just funky fresh ! thanks our tigers at Highsnobette for these and they can be found at eluxury.

Super High

We've been loving the extra high sneakers lately and here is a pair the boys and the girls of the shop are digging. It's the Shofolk Andre 2 Shoe, that creeps extra high up. Exterior is leather with a rubber sole and sheepskin insole. Perfect for next season. via oki-ni

Releasing this fall at Barneys, is Creative Reactions Milano Hi sneaks. Premium grade leather, timeless color, get your grown man on. via Complex

Surprisingly Not Ugly

Normally Kobe's sneakers are not looking too good, but these Nike Hyperstrike x Kobe MVP sneakers are pretty cool.

The sold black with gold piping and laces, off set by the purp (gotta love the purp) is looking pretty legit. Too bad only 100 were made for fam and friends (and probably a couple ho ho's...just sayin') Images via Eightys Fresh.

Little Shop of Wonders

In all its diversified glory, Lower Haight is one of our favorite hoods of San Francisco. The DJ's at Noc Noc are always bumping good indie rock, Upper Playground keeps in trill, RNM has provided some memorable meals and now CC Rider SF is The Shop's go to shopping spot. Having recently opened at 260 Divisadero, CC Rider SF carries a melange of goods: rad old Casio watches, WESC high waisted shorts, vintage YSL, Levi's, rock tee's, eye wear, leather jackets, Keds, LA Gear, Cheap Monday skinny jeans, bags and belts - OH MY!!
Owner Lien Gray has a superb eye and is completely genuine and adorable to match !
Check out their blog or stop by the store. Upon our first visit we couldn't help but leave with a bag full of goodies ( gold sailboat broach, acid wash fanny pack, Vintage Chuck Taylor sweatshirt, calculator Casio watch...you get the picture).

TNT

Being the Tony Trujillo is from our hometown of Santa Rosa, we thought we should show his new TNT II Mid's, part of the Signature Series from Vans. Were digging the faux gator and gold.

Hot Hot Heat

These cloth Gram Sneakers are perfect for the heat of summer. Stockholm based designers Alexis Holm and Anna Stenvi are the vision behind Gram. You can find through Revolve Clothing...picked up by Notcot.

More Quilted Detailing...

The WTAPS x Vans collaboration brings more quilted detailing to men's footwear. Recently a Cabinet member found a WESC quilted patterned, puffy jacket at Jeremy's for about half the original price, the Ed Lover dance ensued...
We are enjoying the quilted trend and thinking there's about to be alot more of it for the fall...

All In The Details

Part moccasin, part sneaker - cant get much better. We can't wait for the Taka Hayashi x Vans pack to come out. The Shop boys are already putting dibs on who gets what - seems the seal brown leather is most popular round here.
