FUTURE PERFECT

Mark your calendars for Thursday July 5th, to celebrate the kick off party for San Francisco's three-month art and music festival, Soundwave. One of our favorite zine's The Bold Italic will sponsoring the event at the California Academy of Sciences, which should make for a very fun and very trippy night. Disco/post-punk DJ's, video instillations and interactive instruments may have you swimming with the fishies at the end of the night!

FRA ANGELICO

While in LA this weekend I had the pleasure of viewing a few exhibitions, one of them being the Rodarte 'Fra Angelico' at the LACMA. The beautiful dresses were set in the Italian Renaissance gallery, being that the collection was inspired by the masterpieces found in the monastery of San Marco by Fra Angelico in Florence. My favorite was the hot pink gown with metal cut out bustier. If you can, check it out.

TIMBER COVE INN

Timber Cove Inn in Fort Ross, CA is an extremely beautiful get away complete with super 70's Nor Cal vibe. After a great trip antiquing through Bodega Bay and a pit stop at the best bar ever, Casino Bar & Grill we arrived at Timber Cove and took in the breathtaking view. Stock up on good friends and good cocktails and make a weekend out of it!
