NYC's Lower East Side is a haven for shopping in independently owned, styled and truly bad ass boutiques—gratefully I lived in the heart of it. The Reformation was my go to, for a night out, special occasion or just had too frozen margaritas next door and needed some retail therapy. Alexa Chung recently did a shopping guide of the area with Lucky magazine and here are some snaps of the occasion.

LADY TUX

One of my dear lady loves, Ms. Beaucoup Brooklyn, is getting married this weekend and true to style I still have not figured out what I'm going to wear. Currently I am obsessing over how to rock a lovely lady tux, something between Alexa Chung and Rihanna...just not sure how to pull it off in the right way.  Thinking Topshop and Zara might be a good place to start but need that little something special to make it just right...where to go, where to go?!
