FAUNING OVER FLORALS

I had the pleasure of attending Kinfolk Magazine's brunch in San Francisco today. Meeting some amazing new friends, fellow stylists, editors, bloggers and more. At the end of the brunch there was a "farmers market" comprised of local small businesses. I took home some gorgeous flowers by Studio Choo and couldn't be happier.

THE REFORMATION

NYC's Lower East Side is a haven for shopping in independently owned, styled and truly bad ass boutiques—gratefully I lived in the heart of it. The Reformation was my go to, for a night out, special occasion or just had too frozen margaritas next door and needed some retail therapy. Alexa Chung recently did a shopping guide of the area with Lucky magazine and here are some snaps of the occasion.

I simply adore this shoot by Will Davidson of model Lindsay Wixton for Muse magazine. Her face, those, lips, the feminine silhouettes with boyish charm—perfect looks for Spring.

100 THINGS TO EAT IN 2012

Once again 7x7 Magazine has come out their list of the "100 Things to Eat Before You Die" in San Francisco and man is it good— it's the kind of list you put on your fridge and gladly knock them off. Above is the Pho Ga from Turtle Tower, which for me might be number 1. Whats yours?

DINNER AT WINDSOR'S

Over the summer I worked on a fab shoot at designer Windsor Smith's home in Los Angeles. It was a fun shoot that focused on how the star entertains over the holidays with serious style. COLOR ME BAD

For my new apartment I've been dabbling with the idea of bold colors in the public rooms, it can be a bit of a challenge to find the right color outside of the bedroom that will make statement without being too loud. While pink may not be just right, I appreciate good usage of it—take a look at a piece I produced  on the fab color used in the perfect way.
