IRONSIDE

I absolutely adore working in the SOMA district of SF, there are so many great restaurants and bars to frequent for lunch and after work. One of my favorites is Ironside, it has a great industrial design along with fab salads, sandwiches and coffee.

This weekend I had a friend visit from NYC for her bday, as well as the usual debauchery I took her to some real deal eats in San Francisco. A few conclusions were made: my new favorite brunch spot is Citizen's Band in SOMA for their soulful menu; the seriously cute and upscale retro diner,  Presidio Social Club has an amazing Crab Louis sandwich and one of the best wiener spots in all the land is Wurst in Healdsburg. You've been warned!

SPRINKLE SOME TRUFFLE ON IT

The truffle egg toast at Inoteca is the most delicious mound of goodness, I do declare. Thick brioche with two eggs sittin' pretty inside, covered with cheese and dripping in truffle oil. Try the homemade strawberry mint bellini to wash it down. God damn I'm salivating just writing this !
