This weekend some friends and I did brunch at Anella in Brooklyn. The space is true to BK style, a rustic long wood bar, brick walls, hanging antique mirrors and more importantly great food. I ordered poached eggs over a vegetable hash which was perfect. The eggs were slightly runny, oozing into the charred squash, zucchini and eggplant. They also bake their bread in flowerpots which makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
