The recent collabo between Nike and Dave's Quality Meats has resulted in the radical Dunk High Premiums. The pack is constructed of perforated suede and comes in Industrial Blue, Cave Purple (our fav) and Ice Green. We can't wait for these to drop!

SF Weekly boasted that Shortlived, a local theater production might just be better than SNL - and we wholeheartedly agree ! The premise: bring booze, sit your pretty booty down in the cozy theater, watch 1o short plays that were all submitted to Pianofight and written by local artists, laugh your ass off, rate the shorts and try not pee your pants when "Vikings" is performed (image above and one of our fav's). Keep your eye out for actor Jeremy Mascia, the ladies of The Shop got a crush !!

The Shop is pumped for the Playoffs to start tonight and being born and raised in Cali, you know we are rooting for the Lakers (which will never take the spot in our hearts for the Warriors). Nevertheless, the high flying dunks, the hard fouls, the shot at the buzzer - we are looking forward to it all!

First HUF and now Upper Playground is planting some roots in LA. This weekend marked the opening of the 4 stop shop extravaganza for UP and The Last Laughs. Located at 125 E. 6th Street in Downtown, you can find goods from Upper Playground, an art gallery, Mister Cartoon customized vehicles and photo/video from the uber talented Estevan Oriol.

The Cabinet Shop and friends went up to Tamales this weekend, bought about 100 oysters and then proceeded to a random beach where we grilled, shucked, frolicked, drank and had a super fun time. After grubbing to our hearts content we decided to go down to the beach, take some pics and romp around in the sand. Upon stumbling back we realized a flock of ravens had snagged our apple pie, cookies, bread, cheeses and various morsels. Next time were going back with alka setzer and blowing thier bellies up ! Ok, maybe thats extreme...but if anyone is looking for a good get away, buy some oysters at Hog Island Oyster Co and cruise down to a grilling spot on the beach.
